ICAAL is an award winning full-service creative digital marketing agency, based in beautiful Grade 2* listed offices in Southampton’s city centre.

Due to continued rapid expansion, we are looking for a talented Freelance Copywriter.

SEO knowledge is an advantage as the majority of content we produce is for online purposes.

You will have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of the Adobe suite and WordPress would be an advantage.

The role is mostly remote, with just occasional Zoom calls or in-house catch ups required, giving you the flexibility to work the hours you choose.

Your duties will include the following:

- Creating well written, optimised copy for our expanding base of high-profile clients’ websites.
- Optimising copy for web and uploading content to a WordPress content management system.
- Researching products and creating relevant product pages and articles.
- Liaising with the Digital, SEO and Graphics Departments to complete projects as specified.
- You will have the ability to work to deadlines throughout the month with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- We write content for SEO purposes and we will provide training on best practice techniques and strategy.
- Excellent written skills, punctuation, spelling and grammar.
- An understanding of and ability to adapt to tone of voice.
- Passion for all things creative.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Responsible and independent.
- Good ability to prioritise work and recognise problems.
- Display strong communication, analytical, written and creative skills.

The salary is negotiable dependent on experience.
