**After School Play worker**

**The Company**
Boom Sports delivers a fun, active, and learning based childcare scheme for children aged 4-11 years. We are specialists in the planning, delivery and assessment of childcare provision during school term time. During school holiday periods we run multi-sports holiday camps for boys and girls. Boom Sports is passionate about giving every child an opportunity to play, learn and socialise through sports and other recreational activities.
**The Position**
We are seeking a playworker to work Monday-Friday 3:00-6:00pm. This role requires an individual who is confident, knowledgeable, and versatile with the ability to engage young people.
This is an inspiring post for an ambitious individual who can work independently and is committed to being a role model.
**Responsibilities**:
- Deliver fun and engaging sports/activities to kids
- Be assertive and respected by pupils
- Developing adapting schemes of work.
- Provide an exciting learning experience
- Be versatile and committed to learning
- Be reliable and flexible
- Demonstrate professionalism to schools and parents
**Knowledge and Experience Requirements**
- 1 years childcare experience
- Experience in creating and following activity plans
- Knowledge and passion for a variety of sports
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Risk Assessment experience
- Experience working with a variety of ages
- GCSE Maths and English.
- First Aid and Child Protection Training - Desirable.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate - Essential.
- Committed to continuous professional development and willingness to undergo further training
