We currently have an opportunity for an Integrated Marketing Specialist UK and IE who will strategically work to grow the Sandvik Coromant brand and market share in southern and western Europe.
This role will be located at our new headquarters in Halesowen, UK.
Job Summary
This is a diverse marketing role in an international team set-up with the purpose of supporting the delivery of a unified customer and brand experience for the customers of Sandvik Coromant and supporting the company’s business goals.
By using relevant marketing strategies and tactics to reinforce the Sandvik Coromant brand, solutions will be devised to create demand, fostering customer retention, identify new business opportunities and convert them into buying customers. The development and use of digital marketing processes is vital in this role. Utilising such tools is paramount in ensuring marketing campaigns and activities closely align to business and sales goals.
Successfully working alongside specialists from different marketing and communication disciplines across the company will optimise marketing and communications opportunities. The overall goal will be to Strategically analyse business targets and translate them into a balanced and effective mix of marketing, brand and communication activities.
**Profile**:
With ideally 7 years plus experience in a similar role, and/or a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications your relevant knowledge and documented experience will enable you to create and execute marketing strategies and plans, with a proven track record of delivering results and managing change and relationships.
You will strategically create, plan, budget and execute Marketing and Communication plans together with the sales team. You will deploy omnichannel marketing campaigns that support business and sales goals.
Being able to establish and track campaign objectives, KPIs and success metrics to evaluate effectiveness and overall performance, you will have the ability to adjust/optimise tactics and programs as needed as well as sharing best practices which includes maintaining awareness of new marketing technologies, techniques and best practices, and implementing them in daily work.
Having strong communication skills you will provide input to the local business plan, taking ownership of marketing activities, and secure an ongoing dialogue to decide, develop and improve activities supporting the business objectives and growth strategy. You will also ensure good marketing cooperation with Machine Tool Builders and Distributors, with support from the Channel Marketing Specialist.
You will act as a major player in defining the yearly marketing planning as part of the southern and western Europe marketing team, relaying needs and expectations from the Sales Cluster UK and Ireland.
In addition to your technical business marketing skills you will be able to organise and deploy several internal and customer events (including digital events, hybrid events, visits to our facilities and VIP customer visits to Sweden) in line with budget, including ownership of marketing qualified lead generation as well as drive media and PR activities in close collaboration with the PR team.
