**Procurement Specialist - Stock (12 Month FTC)**

We are now looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team in Doncaster on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

**The Role**
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for the management of a complete data cleanse project on all stock items within our EFW (Electricity From Waste) facilities.
You will research and evaluate the system, ensuring an overall consistent approach and compliance with health and safety standards across the fleet.
Advising on stock management, you will engage with stakeholders, review data to identify efficiencies and seek development strategies for the improvement of the business.
Additionally, you will:
- Assist in the management of category buyers
- Provide support, advice and training
- Research the market to source suppliers
- Request and review quotations
**About You**
To be considered as a Procurement Specialist, you will need:
- A minimum of three years’ experience in procurement and contract management
- Experience of purchasing of commodities and project management
- Knowledge of best practice in procurement
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in use of MS Office suite, particularly MS Excel
- At a minimum, A-Levels (or equivalent qualifications)
