Hgv Lgv Mechanic

We are looking for a qualified full time HGV, LGV mechanic for our workshop based in Bonnybridge, with previous experience as a mechanic or similar role. you will have a strong knowledge of automotive systems and components and be proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment. You will have excellent problem solving skills with strong attention to details.
- Have a good technical knowledge
- be fully competent at carrying out periodic safety inspections to all HGV's and LGV's to DVSA standards
- complete the appropriate paperwork accurately
- ensure all relevant legislation and health and safety procedures are adhered to
- maintain a safe and clean working area
- have the ability to work with minimum supervision
- Have good communication, organisation and team working skills
- Have a good understanding of health and safety
- Be able to work flexibly and to deadlines
- Have a full UK Driving License
- high standards and a commitment to accuracy

you will be able to
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment
- diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- conduct inspections and identify potential problems
- repair or replace faulty components
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
