Baby Room Leader

**Do you love creating lots of fun activities for children, have a great imagination, and are able to effectively communicate with young children?**

**The Hunny Comb Day Nursery based in Oadby is a part of the Hunny Nurseries chain.**

**We are looking for a committed and motivated Baby Room Leader to join our team. You will be working 40/47.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, all year.**

**What we ask from you**:

- **You must have a warm, welcoming smile to greet the children with.**:

- **You must be prepared to laugh daily, with the children, with the other practitioners and also at each other.**:

- **Ideally you will have good counting skills, to be able to count fast moving little people.**:

- **You must be prepared to discuss bodily fluids in front of other people including announcing to the whole room when you are going to the toilet yourself.**:

- **Ideally you will possess some creativity and imagination. This may come in useful when you are pretending to drink several cups of tea, walking the plank as a pirate, or pretending to be a jungle animal.**:

- **The most important thing is that you must be full of warm cuddles and be willing to distribute them as and when required.**
**As a room leader we ask that you are willing to share your own experiences and knowledge with other practitioners.**

Leadership experience is desirable but not essential, however, you must hold a Level 3 within childcare for this position. We are keen to interview people who hold good people skills, and are eager to learn.
