**RESPONSIBILITIES**

You will be responsible for the following:
GOODS IN
- loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles
- checking that the correct quantity and type of goods have been received
- recording any damaged, missing or faulty goods
- signing the delivery form, once satisfied that the goods are complete
- moving the goods to the correct area in the warehouse, either manually or using mechanical handling equipment
- labelling goods

STORAGE & STOCK CONTROL
- allocating storage space to goods
- relocating and re-stacking goods to make space for a new delivery
- keeping records of goods, their location and quantity
- advising office if stock levels fall too low
- cutting carpets to customer sizes ready for fitting dates

GOODS OUT
- picking goods that are due for fitting/delivery
- keeping records of goods which have been picked
- moving and stacking goods ready for delivery, either by hand or using machinery
- Working within our delivery team, delivering goods to our customer’s homes in our van
- picking goods that are due for fitting/delivery
- Working within our delivery team, loading goods on customers and fitter’s vehicles
- Driving the van and delivering goods to customers houses

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- maintaining the warehouse/shop premises in a tidy state eg. clearing away packing material and debris
- liaising with manufacturers, distributors and customers
- delivering goods to the customer
- quality control of goods in and/or goods out
- customer sales, ensuring customers have the knowledge to buy with confidence

- Full UK Driving Licence

Pay: From £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
