Metal Gates Processors

We are family run company, looking for an experienced Metal Processor, to join our team for an immediate start. We specialise in metal Gates & Railings. You will mainly be required to process steel, although other duties will include:

- Cutting steel using a bandsaw and handheld grinder
- Drilling using pillar and hand drill
- Marking out steel for cutting or drilling
- Arching steel using a section roller
- Grinding
- Receiving stock
- manual labour

Full training will be provided on all machinery and processes. Ideally we would like to also train you to run pre-set programs on our plasma CNC machine and train you to weld certain products using JIGS.
- Metal processing experience with a bandsaw, pillar drill and section roller
- At least one year experience in metal processing
- Good understanding and knowledge of metal working techniques and tools.
- Ability to process steel from engineering drawings
- Ability to work under own initiative and with mínimal supervision to achieve tight deadlines and high quality.
- Be self
- motivated, hard working and be able to work well with others as part of a team.
- To be reliable, flexible and punctual

Full working hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 9am-3pm

Hourly rate is negotiable dependant on experience.
