They are currently looking for an experienced Category Buyer who will be responsible for developing and supporting the Flexibles & Packaging categories for the UK and Europe region.

This role directly reports into the Regional Head of Procurement and is based out of their HQ in West London. They have a ground-breaking procurement team and they are looking for someone who is driven and can add value to their regional procurement function.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing and supporting Category strategies - Packaging & Flexibles/Paper Packaging for the UK and Europe Region
- Managing Global Procurement contracts at a regional level with complete ownership - liaising with global and regional stakeholders
- Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) is a key part of this role - managing effective relationships with key suppliers
- Supporting tenders and negotiations - post contract negotiations
- Driving and delivering on cost savings initiatives
- Defining and mitigating procurement risks
- Quality Assurance - liaising with key suppliers and ensuring quality is not compromised

**Skills**:

- You have some experience in the Packaging/Flexibles/Paper Packaging categories from a Procurement/Buying perspective
- Supplier relationship management is something you enjoy and have some experience in - building and sustaining trust with partners
- You have some experience in contract management and driving post contract negotiations
- You are analytical and have good communication skills
- You could be from any industry - We are Flexible
