Here, at SMART GARDEN OFFICES, in Thurston, we design, manufacture and install wonderful garden rooms for customers across the country. All our offices are made from top grade timber, which are machined so they slot together like a big construction kit Such is the success of our offices that we are now making almost double the number we made two years ago, so we need more people to join our SMART family.

We are looking for people who are:

- eager to learn new skills,
- have an attention to detail,
- adaptable to changing situations,
- reliable and punctual,

In return, our trainee wood machinists can expect to:

- be trained on safe use on all our saw machinery (_chop saw, table saw, spindle, planer_),
- be trained to use our power tools, such as sanding machines, impact drivers, screwdrivers,
- learn how to make a varied range of components, such as wall studs, roofing trusses, gables, door frames, decking, steps, ramps,
- learn how to read CAD drawings,
- work within a friendly group of wood machinists,
- progress within the business once fully trained,
- Receive 28 days holiday.
- One extra day holiday for each full year of service (up to five years)

The position is offered on a permanent basis and work hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. There are opportunities for overtime during busy periods. If you would love to be part of a market-leading company, then please forward a complete and up to date CV and covering letter.
