Seeking a Teaching Assistant in a Year 2 class to support a child with ASD - MUST BE EXPERIENCED.
Academics are supporting a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Canterbury who are seeking a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. Working on a 1:1 basis with a Year 2 pupil with ASD, they are seeking someone who hashad previous experience of supporting children with ASD and a range of SEND.
Canterbury Teaching Assistant specifications - Teaching Assistant - SEND:
- Level 3 Qualified
- Be skilled at de-escalating behaviour
- Strong behaviour management techniques
- Ideally worked within a school setting
- Be confident working 1:1 with a pupil
- A bubbly and outgoing person who wants to become part of a team
- Be able to start after ASAP
- Ideally have an up to date DBS (on the update service would be desired)
- Be seeking a long term and full time role
