Due to ongoing success and an increase in new projects our client is now looking for Painters and Decorators to join a new project based on isle of Wight

Duties as a
**Painterand Decorator** will be:

- Using brushes, rollers or spraying equipment.
- Painting sash windows with woodstain
- Painting render and metal railings.
- Calculating the materials needed for a project.
- Removing old paint or wallpaper by sanding or scraping, or by using heat guns, liquid paint removers or steam strippers.
- Mixing paint to an agreed shade.
- Laying dust sheets to protect areas from paint.
- Preparing surfaces for decorating by filling holes and sealing cracks.
- Tidying up and cleaning your tools.
- Protect work pieces surfaces.
- Examine finished surfaces of work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.
- Inspecting painted surfaces and all other surfaces worked on, rectifying any flaws and defects.
- Moving furniture and equipment as necessary to reach the entire surface of the project.
- Removing fixtures such as door knobs and light switch covers.

**Requirements**:
**These are the following requirements needed for these roles**:

- Valid CSCS card
- Use of hand tools or power tools
- Experience working as a Painter & Decorator
