Tutor

You will be working on various assignments providing **1:1 tuition** or in some cases **small group tuition** with young people who are:
- Looked After/Previously Looked After Children, or those with a Social Worker
- Children with EHCP’s not currently attending an education provision, or who attend part-time
- Emotionally Based Non-Attenders
- Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC)
- Pupils requiring Alternative Provision
- Pupils awaiting a school place
- The ability to communicate with young people in an empathetic and caring manner
- An outgoing and resilient personality
- Be able to work on their own initiative in regards to ensuring that health and safety procedures are met, and the welfare of the children
- Ideally have experience of working on a 1:1 with a variety of ability levels, from GCSE to Functional Skills
- Ideally a proven track record in teaching, and have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
**What we can provide**
At The Youth Education Service we are education specialists with over a decade of experience in the field. You will be provided with your own specialist consultant who will take care of your needs and advise you through the clearing and work process. We are on call 24/7 so are always there to support you. You will have access to free safeguarding training and further CPD to aid your personal development in your career. You will have an online diary so you can manage your work times/tuition slots more efficiently.
