CNC Milling Setter for Plymouth based client who are engineering specialists with extensive knowledge and expertise in the production of precision machined components and assemblies for industries such as Defence, Telecoms, Medical and Aerospace. **What will you be doing as a CNC Milling
- Setter**
- Read, understand and examine engineering drawings and specifications to determine appropriate methods, sequence of operations and machine setting.
- Select and fix work holding devices and appropriate cutting, shaping and/or forming tools and tips.
- Produce robust set-ups which are poka yoke and work with operators to ensure they understand all loading instructions.
- Operate automatic or manual controls to clock vices/fixtures and set datums
- Self inspections to customer required tolerances
- Set and safely operate 3 axis, 4 axis and 5 axis machinery

**Skills/Qualifications of a CNC Milling - setter**
- Robust and in depth engineering background
- Minimum of 2 years working in a CNC manufacturing environment
- Motorsport, automotive, medical and aerospace background are desirable but not essential
