MASTER DATA LEAD
LOCATION: Wantage, Oxfordshire

THE BUSINESS:
C4S Search are currently working with a client who specialise in world metal packaging technology. The company were founded over 100 years ago and they are looking for someone for a team leader role within the IT family.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
- Lead the design and implementation of Master Data governance, operating model, strategy, and architecture.
- Leverage effective relationships with business partners to understand the data needs, data dependencies and identify opportunities for business process standardisation, ensuring high engagement with Data Stewards.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts and Data Stewards, to define and implement data strategy, policies, controls, and programmes to ensure enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
- Work closely with various business and functional teams for data definitions development, data model creation, data quality improvements and resolution of Master Data design issues, ensuring compliance and consistency across systems
- Work with SAP functional and technical consultants analysing data management requirements
- Handle the data preparation process with relevant actors (data gathering, cleansing, and transforming processes)
- Along with the Model and Service Strategy Team, participate in governance of technical designs and approaches to development
- Establish consistent metrics to measure quality of data and implemented solutions
- Lead and own the relationship with software vendor(s) and providers supporting MDM initiatives
- Identify risks and drive continuous improvements in data management through technological innovation, operational improvement, and championing adoption
- Meet governance requirements and comply with SOX and ISO/ITIL framework procedures
- Be actively involved in business development activities to identify and research opportunities
YOUR KEY SKILLS:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience leading the successful design and delivery of an SAP S/4 Master Data
- Strong understanding of data structure classifications, workflow, and processes
- Knowledge of Master Data Management automation tools
- Experience leading data definitions development, data model creation, and data quality improvements, collaborating with cross functional technology teams
- Experience in Business Functional Analysis
- Experience in Continual Service Improvements
- Business Analyst skills
- Team management skills
- Expert level Excel, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite
