A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sales Progressor to join Thomas Morris Estate agents in one of their Cambridgshire branches to ensure that the sales progression of properties is handled quickly, effectively and accurately. The individual must havea full understanding of the conveyancing process as this position provides crucial back up to the Sales Team to ensure that the sales pipeline progresses efficiently to completion.
Thomas Morris were established in 1991 and have 6 branches covering Residential Sales & Lettings and Property Management. They have built up a reputation for being a trusted and recommended agent and are a forward thinking independent company with core valuesthat guide the business putting customer and employees at the forefront of everything they do.
Key responsibilities within the role will be to:
- Liaise with Solicitors, Mortgage Lenders, Estate Agents, Vendors and Purchasers providing an open line of communication and ensuring issues are resolved
- Ensure all aspects of the sales administration process are handled quickly, efficiently and accurately
- Ensure that Vendors and Purchasers receive a professional service
- Undertake a variety of sales administration tasks
- Undertake specific actions as instructed by the Branch Manager or Local Director
- Work to a pre-determined pipeline conversion rate
The Individual should be/possess:
- Full understanding of the conveyancing process
- Full knowledge of legislation affecting the operation of residential sales
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment
- Ability to multi task
- Good personal presentation and conduct
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate accurately both verbally and in writing
- Confident and proficient in dealing with clients and colleagues
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Good, accurate keyboard skills and basic to intermediate IT skills
- An organised and methodical approach
- Ability to operate in a team environment
