**Role Responsibilities**

As our Warehouse Supervisor you will oversee the Parts Warehouse Operation & be responsible for the handling of goods in and out of the warehouse as well as ensuring the efficiency & smooth running of the department. You will supervise and coach 5 staff members, cultivating a team philosophy by working together to achieve the company's targets focusing on consistently meeting and exceeding business objectives.

Your role will require you to:

- Supervise warehouse operatives to perform their duties, completing appraisals and disciplinary actions when required.
- Manage stock to very accurate levels, ensuring all stock is handled, located and maintained to reduce all potential damages and losses.
- Support and carry out stock checks of engineer’s van or site locations, promoting best practice and reducing and limiting stock loses.
- Identify errors and root cause using robust countermeasures to sustain the corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues.
- Ensure employees are adequately trained and competent within their role to ensure operational efficiency.
- Review and implement systems and working practices in line with best practice and continuous improvement.
- Deal with freight companies ensuring they meet and exceed their SLA.
- Purchasing of packaging materials and other consumables required within the warehouse operation.
- Assessing and reporting the condition of warehouse machinery, fixtures and fittings within the department to ensure they meet the necessary H&S standards.

**Skills and Experience**

To be considered for the role of Warehouse Supervisor we are looking for the following:

- Experience as a team leader within a warehouse environment and/or operational service delivery role.
- Highly organised and exceptional planning skills with the ability to manage and prioritise various tasks.
- Strong time management skills.
- A record of delivering results in terms of improving KPI's and cost savings.
- Excellent and inspiring leadership and team building skills.
- Empathetic and empowering leadership style, with the ability to give clear direction and delegate confidently.
- Ability to build and develop relationships with customers, direct reports and other departments within the organisation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A full driving licence.
