Providing a valuable service in our Ocean Freight department, to organise the safe, efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods for Deep Sea Imports.
**Client Details**
My Client is an international provider of logistics and freight services providing logistics solutions and specialising within the European region. With a major presence across all major trade routes and known for being cost effective and reliable qualityservice they are currently providing opportunities within their team in Witham for the Ocean Department.
**Description**
The Ocean Freight Account Manager who will be reporting into the Ocean Freight Operations Manager will also be responsible for the following tasks:
- Handling FCL and LCL Imports from the Far East and other origins.
- Liaising with Customers, overseeing agents and shipping lines whilst providing high level of customer service.
- Bookings & arranging deliveries
- Customs clearance/ Entries
- Dealing with clearance queries/problems and resolving them
- Import quotation
- Commute to Witham
**Profile**
The ideal Ocean Freight Account Manager will have the following skills and attributes:
- Ocean Import Experience (required)
- Understanding of Import procedures/ documentation.
- Knowledge of Customs entries
- Basic knowledge of Exports
- Excellent communication skills
- Time management and organisational skills
- Commute to Witham
