**Purpose of the role**:Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst**

Ownership of end-to-end quality in a digital squad. Ensures all guidelines are adhered to throughout the end-to-end execution. Overall responsibility for low defect rates and high quality of execution.

**Key Responsibilities**:Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst**

Quality Assurance:

- Reviews all documentation provided to or created by the squad.
- Collaborates with the product owner to define acceptance criteria up front, clarify scope and create/socialize a test plan with appropriate test cases.
- Responsible for test execution using a variety of techniques including static, integration, system, and acceptance testing.
- Identify issues during testing and collaborate with other squad team members i.e., content editor, UXD and developers to resolve.
- Inspire and motivate the squad to be passionate about quality.
- Educate and engage other team members in testing to improve the velocity of the squad Agile working:

**Experience, Knowledge & Expertise - Essential**:Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst**

Demonstrable knowledge, skills, and experience in the Quality assurance discipline

A proactive approach to strategically managing quality.

Proven delivery experience in a complex IT environment with a high volume of change.

Ability to engage squad in quality assurance execution.

General experience of working in a digital function with a good understanding of common technology.

Experience of working in scrum.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliveries simultaneously.

An accomplished, credible, and respected professional with well-developed stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills gained in a complex organisation.

Thorough understanding of iterative development, incremental delivery, and software development processes/lifecycle.

Collaborative working style with a clear and relentless focus on delivering outcomes.
