We currently have an exciting opportunity for an **Area Sales Manager** to join us based in **London.**You will join us on a **full-time, permanent basis,** and in return, you will receive a **competitive salary of £42,000 per annum plus a benefits package.**

As our **Area Sales Manager**, your role will be to sell the design, manufacture and installation of outdoor play & leisure solutions to reach and exceed the sales targets for your area. You will build on existing customer relationships andbring energy and drive to identify new business opportunities.
Based from home with regular travel throughout the London area inside the M25, you may however live in the home counties. You’ll be inheriting an established sales territory with project sizes varying from £5k-£250k+ - a typical project value would be £90k.You’ll be joining a focused, supportive and successful national sales team with excellent management support.
**What we offer**:
- Base salary of £42k
- Competitive & uncapped commission scheme with an OTE £50,000 - £55,000

**What you’ll do**:
- Establish a clear vision, direction and priorities for the London (inside M25) area
- Build relationships with existing customers who are local authorities and housing associations, as well as developers, architects, leisure operators and schools
- Proactively manage your sales area, initiating and supporting growth in driving up new sales activities
- Produce and deliver against financial targets
- Complete site surveys to help create quotations, plans and drawings
- Collaborate with the internal design and sales co-ordination teams to transform opportunities into successful proposals & implementations
- Optimise use of the CRM system & manage your own sales pipeline, achieving accurate forecasting
**About you**:
- Proven sales experience in construction or related sector (3+ years)
- Previous experience in solution sales (as opposed to commodity selling)
- Background of B2B selling to local authorities, housing associations, developers, schools & nurseries, landscape architects or leisure operators an advantage
- Customer oriented and able to proactively multi-task, managing numerous projects at any one time
- Team player, highly motivated with lots of energy & enthusiasm
- High level verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Solid understanding of good practices in pipeline generation, forecasting and use of CRM
- Knowledge of outdoor playground equipment would be beneficial but is not a specific requirement as full product training will be provided
