**Production Planner**

**£30,000 - £37,000**

**Gloucester**

We are working with an award-winning, manufacturing business, who have recently moved to a larger premises. They are looking for a Production Planner to join them in their head office in Gloucester.

As the Production Planner you will be responsible for planning and executing the company's production schedule to ensure 100% on time delivery for customers. The Production Planner will liaise with supply chain to ensure the production build is executedin line with requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate material availability, liaise with procurement on parts not available to meet build kit start dates
- Schedule production kits to stores to ensure on time delivery to production
- Ensure parts are reserved in accordance with the build plan sequence
- Provide weekly detailed analysis to senior management on build status highlighting any potential issues, together with a solution plan
- Perform analysis on shop floor material
- Work closely with engineering to ensure any design changes are evaluated and dealt with
- Perform monthly inventory analysis reporting slow moving and potential obsolete stock
- Update planning KPI boards weekly, providing feedback to the team

**Skills/ Experience**:

- Must have previous manufacturing planning experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Good organisational abilities and be able to work with minimum supervision
- Can switch between different tasks quickly and efficiently
- Work well under pressure
