- General Purpose of Role_:
Coordinate, forecast and plan production requirements to support client demand.
- Main Responsibilities_:
- Support the Production Scheduler in managing the schedules for Production and Quality.- Ensure all Production requests are well-scoped and sufficiently detailed for accurate planning.- Work closely with Production Supervisor and the Label Design Team Leader and Production to ensure Production requirements are communicated and achieved as per the schedule.- Work closely with the Quality Department and PMs on requirements and ensure these are achieved as per the Schedule.- Liaise with Technical Team to manage any planned maintenance of the Production area in accordance with the Production plan.- Ensure appropriate operational resources are allocated to perform tasks and activities.- Agree and work towards the achievement of personal development goals.- Where required, undertake tasks and projects outside the job holder’s area of responsibility.
- Outcomes of Role_:
- Ensure production schedules are current and visible with any changes being communicated to appropriate personnel regularly.- Recommend changes to the production plan to Project Management to utilise resources effectively and efficiently.- All documentation, rooms and equipment are available and maintained for assembly and labelling operations.
- Previous Work Experience_:
- Practical experience performing a similar scheduling role within the manufacturing industry with a thorough understanding of Production Planning and Demand Management.
