We're very exciting to be recruiting for a Company Accountant to join an entrepreneurially run, fast paced and high growth Investment and Consultancy based business in the heart of Leeds City Centre.

Working with the Finance Director, this is a great opportunity for a hands on Management Accountant to join an extremely diverse role working on a multitude of exciting projects across a diverse and strong portfolio of clients.

**The Role**
As Company Accountant you'll be an integral part of a small, close knit hands on finance team, working closely with the Finance Director to oversee the running of the finance function and month end routine.

This is a diverse well rounded role offering full oversight of the whole business, plenty commercial exposure to business partner the wider stakeholder group to help add value, support decision making, and work on a diverse number of exciting projects acrossthe overall Group.

Given the diversity of the role, duties could include but are certainly not limited to:

- Ownership of the month end routine; the production of the management accounts, P&L, balance sheet and cash flow responsibility
- Work closely with the wider business and internal and external stakeholders to genuinely provide insight, analysis and business plans to aid strategic decision making and plans for the subsidiaries.
- Act as the key finance business partner to the wider business on integral projects
- VAT returns
- Manage working capital and cash flow forecasting and reporting.
- Oversee the financial accuracy of stock and cost of goods sold
- Business Partner with the wider stakeholder group and departments (Marketing, Product Development, Sales etc) to provide useful insight and analysis to help drive performance, identify opportunities and aid business growth.
- Provide commercial support and help drive continuous improvement.

**Your Profile**

To be considered for this role, you will ideally:

- Have experience working in similar all round hands on role overseeing the month end
- Be competent in the month end routine and the production of the P&L, balance sheet, budgets and cash flow forecasts. Exposure to Group Accounts and consolidations also ideal but not essential.
- Have demonstrable experience of adding value to a business, provide insight and analysis to shape strategy and aid decision making.
- Be confident liaising with Senior Stakeholders and challenging the status quo to provide value add recommendations.
- Be self motivated, driven and able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
