We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic individual to lead and manage the implementation of high quality experiential learning opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students —including internships and curriculum-embedded placements—for our students at BNU. The role will focus on academic programmes that do not currently have internships and placements, typically those without professional, regulatory, or statutory body accreditation. This role is key to ensuring our students are equipped with the real-world experience they need to thrive after graduation.
You will collaborate with academic teams, external partners, and placement providers to design and implement impactful learning experiences. You will also establish robust systems for reporting, governance, and quality assurance, while shaping the future direction of placements at BNU. This includes developing policies, templates, and a comprehensive placement recording system.

**Job Purpose**:
- To lead and manage the implementation of high quality experiential learning (internships and curriculum-embedded placements, internships) for our students to be equipped to achieve graduate success. They will work with stakeholders to design and plan a high-quality implementation of experiential learning and placements, reporting systems and governance structures. They will work with placement providers to deliver high quality learning experiences. They will set the direction for embedding placements at BNU, including development of relevant templates, policies and establishing the placement recording system.
**Main Duties & Responsibilities of the role**:
- Lead the design, implementation and evaluation of clear processes for the management of experiential learning and placements for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that do not currently have placements (e.g., provision without professional, regulatory, or statutory body accreditation) ensuring equitable opportunities for all students. This role involves creating pathways that address barriers to access, fostering a supportive environment where students can experience placements.
- Build a pipeline of internships, work based/work-related learning opportunities and graduate positions, with a particular focus on module-based micro-placements, and sandwich year opportunities.
