**Position Summary**:
We now have an exciting, permanent vacancy for a Warehouse Operative within our Architectural Coatings division, based in our Carrickfergus warehouse. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our friendly and supportive team. Experience of working in warehouse environment essential. PPG are a global company founded in 1882, with a presence in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland for nearly 40 years. Our brands, Johnstone’s and Leyland Paint, are supported by a 60,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facility in Carrickfergus, along with 27 Johnstone’s Decorating Centres across Ireland. **A day in the life of**
- As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:

- Pick, pack and assemble orders, ensuring a high level of accuracy at all times.
- Maintain a good level of efficiency.
- Align with health and safety regulations, while always maintaining safe-working practices.
- Loading and unloading of deliveries.
- Check customer orders before dispatch.
- Daily housekeeping

The hours of work for the position are 39 hours per week, this is a full time permanent role.

**Skills Required**:

- GCSE Maths (Minimum Grade C or equivalent)
- Valid Forklift License required
- Previous Warehouse experience
- Power pallet truck preferred (not essential)
