You will play a key role as part of a small team providing an essential service for our customers. You will be responsible for the timely allocation and despatch of high priority works to engineers to meet service level agreement (SLA) and timescales that have been set out by Thames Water to our customers. You will manage all work on the out of hours engineers and take any relevant action required to ensure work is seen through to completion.

The Streetworks Coordinator’s key role is to monitor all work order requirements through the effective delivery of company processes for all lines of business. This includes client and field operations liaison, providing input into street works compliance, improved performance in relation to Section 74, Fixed Penalty Notice.

**Hours**:Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours (8am - 4:30pm)

**Salary**:£26,000+ per annum depending upon experience

**About the role**:
Due to continued growth and development, we are now looking for customer focused people to join us in our Utility Division, working on our Thames Water contract service to deliver real and effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems.
- Arrange for Streetworks Permits as required and in accordance with procedures.
- Ensure Traffic Management Plans are available in accordance with procedures.
- As Streetworks Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with the management and administration of permitting. This will involve the monitoring and coordination of Streetworks activities
- Working closely with local authorities, you will be responsible for opening and closing permits using Streetworks systems whilst ensuring that all aspects of the TMA (Traffic Management Act) are met. Respond to Highways comments, PMR and manage active permits to prevent any Fixed Penalty Notices and Overrun charges.
- Assist with day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope.
- Monitor and identify street works compliance, performance risk in relation to Section 74, Fixed Penalty Notice.
- Lead on all aspects of Streetworks co-ordination providing clear understanding of all Permits.
- Implementation of change and alignment to department and business strategy
- Effective control of the processes, resources and data concerned with Highways authority. Control successful delivery of time bound SLA’s.
- Liaise with Sub-contractors on effective updates of all permitting matters.
- Be aware of Lanes Group policies and their responsibilities towards them
- Any reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by management
