about the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor seeking to join and develop within our busy customer service & sales office, becoming a pivotal part of the team.

In the role key responsibilities will include
- Supporting our external technical Engineering / sales team, liaising with customers & suppliers, and offering administrative support
- Sourcing product and pricing from external suppliers
- Liaise between manufacturing product partners & customers to efficiently answer general questions concerning lead times, deliveries and pricing.
- Maximise sales and opportunities through value added product & service to all incoming and outgoing customer engagement.
- Assess stock levels, back orders, offer customer support and handle arising issues as a focus point of contact for nominated customers.
- In addition to the customer service role there may ad hoc requirements to assist in our busy logistics team, accepting deliveries, booking goods in, picking goods
- Experience of a customer service / sales office environment
- Computer literate - Microsoft Office packages, social media platforms
- Team player - strong team skills and the ability to interact well with colleagues & customers alike
- A solution-based approach to our customer’s requirements
- Basic engineering knowledge would be beneficial but it not essential
- A high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Strong administration skills
