We are currently looking for a Payroll Administrator to join us at Doncaster. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

**The role**

Reporting to the Compensation and Benefits Manager, the Payroll Adminstrator will work at our Doncaster site working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Hybrid working is available following successful completion of a probationary period.Travel to other Wavin sites in the UK in South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Wiltshire may be required along with occasional overnight stays. As the Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for providing a first-class payroll administrative service for Wavin UK and Associated Companies in a timely and effective manner. The role encompasses the preparation of 6 monthly payrolls as part of the UK Payroll Team for submission to our Managed Payroll Provider, financial interfaces with the UK Finance Team, subsequent post payroll reviews and reporting and interaction with the UK People Team to facilitate the accurate upkeep of systems and processes in an efficient manner.

The main duties and responsibilities of your role are to:

- Work within a first-class Payroll admin service for Wavin UK and associated companies. This will include administering our Time and Attendance system, gathering and preparing payroll data for input to our fully managed payroll provider, forwarding of employee records for starters, leavers and internal changes, final payroll checks and reconciliation, sign off of final payroll amounts
- Providing accurate post payroll reporting to external third parties as well as regular reporting for internal customers
- Supporting the People team with data referencing for letters and other administration requirements, absence data, service data and other sensitive personal data
- Sending updates to the Payroll provider, maintaining HR and Time and Attendance systems to reflect pay, headcount and personnel changes
- Must also have the ability to adapt to and deliver a number of ad-hoc requests that maybe outside of the main areas of responsibility as and when requested

To be successful in the role you will have / be:

- A minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or 4 in Maths and English
- Preferably CIPP Level 3 or 5 qualified or working towards the qualification in Payroll Management or CIPD HR equivalent, but not essential
- Knowledge of Mitrefinch or other accredited Time & Attendance systems or working with a Fully Managed Payroll Provider is required
- A high degree of computer literacy and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- An experienced administrator who has previous experience of Time and Attendance Systems and can operate effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing office environment, within a Payroll capacity
- An excellent communicator across all mediums and be able to demonstrate that they have exceptional planning and organisation skills
- Owing to the sensitive nature of the role, we are looking for a trustworthy, professional individual who will provide a first-class administration service to the Payroll and People team
