Job description

**What is the purpose of the role?**

Bolton at Home has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Project Officer to support the delivery of the Manbassadors GM project across Greater Manchester.

The Manbassadors GM Project Officer will assist in the development, delivery and management of projects to improve the quality of lives of men across GM. They work with a range of internal and external stakeholders and partners, as well as the local community as a whole, to develop customer led solutions to issues.

**What’s involved?**
- Act as a first point of contract for customers and support with the day to day running of the Manbassadors GM project.
- Provide support, advice and signposting for a range of enquires including mental health, financial help, career advice and wellbeing support.
- Assist in the development of men’s community projects and provide support to deliver initiatives in line with Manbassador GM objectives.
- Gather, monitor and prepare information in line with National Lottery monitoring requirements.
- Support the team to ensure external budgets and projects are managed within corporate guidelines and rules by developing cost profiles, tracking spend and identifying potential savings for externally funded projects.
- Work with the team on the development of Manbassador GM annual plans and work alongside the ‘Manbassador’ local steering group.
- Draft documents and contribute to accurate, high-quality responses to requests for information. Providing reports and share learning to support internal colleagues and external partners.
- Make links with service providers and stakeholders to work in collaboration on projects to provide customer support and training interventions.
- Work with local people and service providers to identify gaps in provision across GM.

**What you will need?**

We are looking for a flexible and proactive individual with experience of supporting community projects on deadline in a fast-paced environment and working closely with customers for successful outcomes. You will have excellent organisational skills and a strong communicator with an ability to analyse information and data quickly and accurately.
