**Essential Requirements - Previous experience working in a 5* Hotel preferred and with additional formal household experience a big plus. Team player. Flexible to work longer hours when the family are in residence. Excellent cleaning and laundry skills.**

We are seeking an experienced housekeeper with impeccable skills for a portfolio of formal properties, two of which are based in Kensington and the third in North London. You must be proactive, a hands-on team player with excellent communication and a strong attention to detail.

As the Principal will not be in residence for more than 3 to 4 months of the year, the properties must be maintained in a permanent state of readiness. The Principal will be accompanied by a large culturally diverse team of travelling staff who should be supported by and work seamlessly alongside the housekeeping team. Flexibility when the family is in residence will be required, though normal working hours are 09.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, your duties will include:

- General housekeeping and deep cleaning including art, antiques, silver and china etc.
- Dusting, vacuuming and polishing fixtures and furnishings
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms
- Making beds and changing linen
- Laundry, ironing and steaming of clothing and linen
- Report maintenance issues to Head Housekeeper/House Manager
- Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen and food preparation areas
- Upkeep of laundry facility, materials and inventory

**Salary circa £40,000. 2 days off per week but flexibility required when the Principal is in residence. Average 40-45 hours per week. ASAP start. PREVIOUS 5* HOTEL EXPERIENCE A BIG PLUS (HU3983)**
