Investigo finance are recruiting for a Senior Management Accountant to join a growing FMCG business (PE Backed) based in Oxfordshire.
The Senior Management Accountant will deliver accurate and timely financial information, provide support to the Leadership team and the company's strategic objectives. As part of a fast-paced and dynamic Finance team, the Senior Management Accountant shouldbe constantly looking to drive efficiencies, mentoring more junior members of the team, and creating strong cross-functional relationships.
- Responsible (alongside Financial Controller) for finalising all aspects of the monthly management accounts, by MD +5.
- Posting journals - sales/ margin information, accruals, prepayments, nominal corrections.
- Reviewing performance against budget and forecasts and analysing variances.
- Reviewing all control accounts, with particular focus on purchase ledger.
- Working with rest of Finance team and wider business to collate the Board packs post ME.
- Updating rolling forecast (all financial statements) with actual data (monthly).
- Responsible for China and Retail P&Ls, focusing on accuracy.
- Significant involvement in the production of the annual financial budget, from first draft to final submission, including PowerPoint presentations to the Board.
- High level of involvement with re-forecasting as well as quarterly reviews.
- Managing internal audit controls, introducing new processes where required and supporting more junior team members.
- Ensuring a clean and positive external audit post YE, liaising directly with the audit team both during and after the fieldwork.
- Monthly review meetings with budget holders, challenging variances where appropriate to drive bottom line performance.
- Financial modelling to access the financial validity of new projects, couple with finance representation to support the roll out of viable projects.
- Work closely with the Operational team to investigate efficiencies and cost savings our all channels. e.g. carriage, refunds, web order economics

My Client is offering a salary of £45,000 - £50,000 + benefits.
