"Job Overview" We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Helps. As a Home Help, you will be providing essential assistance with day to day tasks to elderly or disabled clients in their homes. "Duties" - General housework - Hoovering, Dusting, Bathroom & Kitchen Cleaning, Laundry, Bed Changing, Inside Windows. - Shopping - Food preparation - cooking a meal for clients from scratch, assisting a client to prepare their meal. - Checking on clients wellbeing - Companionship - Conversations and activities "Requirements" - Experience within a cleaning environment or home care desirable but full training will be provided. - Valid drivers licence and reliable transportation. - Empathy and Understanding of Older People and Disabilities - Knowledge of Dementia and willingness to become a Dementia Friend - Willingness to undertake any relevant training for the Job role. - Ability to work on your own and have a "can do" attitude. You will visit clients on a regular basis to provide the clients with a professional service.
