We are seeking to recruit for an experience Cleaning Supervisor to work in the Salford Quays area. The role is temp to perm Paying £13.00 per hour, based on working Monday to Friday 1pm to 9pm.

**Job Purpose**:
The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for supervising, supporting and managing a team of Housekeeping staff, to achieve the required standards of cleaning across the site, whilst ensuring operational effectiveness within their area of responsibility.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Ensure all Housekeeping / Cleaning tasks are carried out as detailed on the task allocation lists to an agreed standard as directed by the Area Manager.

Ensure all the cleaning cupboards are stocked correctly ready for the start of each shift.

Ensure adequate consumables for your area are stocked at all times and in preparedness with consideration to operational and footfall peaks.

Check the cleaning consumables stock weekly and order consumables and / or other applicable supplies accordingly in advance making allowances for error.

Cover and carry out all relevant housekeeping duties during staff absences.

Report staff absences and / or other staff issues to Area Manager in real time.

Ensure all Housekeepers are wearing the correct uniform at all times in line with the required standards.

Manage the Housekeeping team’s annual leave and absence.

Ensure correct materials, equipment and methods are used at all times and the equipment is clean and in good working order.

Ensure all tasks are carried out with due regard to the contract specification and all legislation including Health and Safety and Personal Hygiene.

Report all faulty equipment immediately to the Area Manager.

report all accidents and dangerous occurrences to the Area Manager in real time.

Attend staff meetings when requested by the Area manager.

Attend company meetings and training courses as and when required.

Complete cleaning audits to agreed schedule/s and follow through on actions, ensuring timely reporting to Area Manager as required.

Assist with any other day-to-day responsibilities as dictated by operational circumstances and the needs of the business and the client.

Ensure all fire and safety procedures are adhered to.

Any other duties as reasonably required for the role.

Q**ualifications**:
Supervisory or willing to work towards a supervisory qualification.

**Experience**:
Cleaning in large office environments

2 Years + Supervising a team within the cleaning industry.

**Skills**:
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyse problems, develop opportunities and implement solutions.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Ability to de-escalate and mange conflict within teams.
