**Salary/package: Up to £70,992.00, plus 10% bonus + comprehensive company benefits**

As our Engineering Manager (Data Centre and Security Networking), you will develop and lead us on prem and cloud network and security capabilities.

You will excel in bonding working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, influencing where necessary, gaining good management buy-in for security, and creating robust infrastructure to deliver todays and enable tomorrow’s products andservices.

**What your day might include**:

- Support a team of 8 likeminded engineers to support Operational and Build activities on Network Work and Security platforms both On-Premises and in Public Cloud.
- Provide second, third support and provide updates for incidents and escalations.
- Responsible for managing key, dependencies and interfaces between projects requiring resources and deliverables from the Data Centre and Security Team; resolving any issues escalated and providing communications back into the project community
- Managing 3rd party suppliers and partners to ensure that support and services of infrastructure are supported and in line with our support contract and budgeted maintenance spend of circa £1M
- Ensuring our team meets its SLA’s agreements with our internal customers within Engineering, Operations and our external customers.
- In charge of the implementation the Asset Lifecycle Management framework across all the assets departments.

**Technical Skillsets**:

- Knowledge of technologies involved in Networking and Security including:

- CiscoACI and/or Nexus 9000 series, Cisco switching and routing and CiscoACI
- Checkpoint Security
- F5 Load balancers
- AWS cloud network and security
- (SDH, IP, Firewalls, Proxy Servers, PSTN Lines, Optical Transport, Broadcast Communications Standards (ASI/SDI), Cisco certification).
