Winchester Racquets and Fitness is a private members sports club situated on the outskirts of Winchester, within walking distance of the city centre and train station.

With over 2000 members, the Club is a focal venue for racquet sports and fitness in the south of England. As well as tennis courts, squash courts, fitness centre and exercise studio, the Club offers excellent social facilities including large café bar with terrace.

We currently have a vacant position for a committed, enthusiastic & customer focused individual to add to our team.

As **Front of House Staff** you will be a key part in the day to day running of the Club across all departments, a positive ‘can-do’ attitude is vital. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Dealing with member enquiries and queries
- Working in on a varied rota across all departments including Reception and Café/Bar
- Assisting Department Leads with event set up
- Providing a warm, welcome to our members at the front desk
- Keeping the Club clean and tidy

**Key Requirements**
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and by phone
- Knowledge of basic computer systems
- Previous experience in customer service (preferred, but not essential)
- Believe in, and want to promote the benefits of physical activity, and so be physically active yourself
- Working as part of the team and be an outstanding team player
- Ensure high standards throughout the Club at all times
- Be pro-active, enthusiastic and responsible in all you do

- When working a shift of 6 hours or more you are entitled to a 20 minute break

- The Club has excellent working hours for the industry (closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day)

**Working Hours - TBC**

Hours will include evenings, weekends & Bank Holidays. Flexibility is essential.

This role will be variable hours with a view to become full time in line with personal development and availability.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: £8.50-£9.20 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
