BASED- WITHAM ST HUGHS

PAY RATE- £12.00 basic £18.00 overtime after 40 hours.

HOURS OF WORK- Monday to Friday 0800-1630

**What it takes to be a Warehouse Operative?**

The role of Warehouse Operative is a demanding role that requires lifting and moving heavy items and covering a warehouse on foot - several miles can be worked each day So, it is important that you can meet the physical demands of the role and are comfortable with the lifting involved.

You should have an eye for detail, and work with accuracy and precision. Ensuring that customer orders are put together correctly is a vital part of the job.

Our role in our warehouse is a little different to a standard warehouse role, so you will be expected to carry out a wide range of jobs throughout the day, you must be ready to adapt and have a generally flexible working style - you may very well find yourself in a diverse and challenging work environment.

Main duties
- Use of hand scanners

FLT Reach (please note this is only 20 percent of the role)

Order Picking

Dispatch

Stock Control

Stock Checking

General housekeeping

You must have a valid in date FLT counterbalance truck Licence, with at least 1 years operating experience and have warehouse experience.

Must have own transport as there are no bus links to site.

**Salary**: £12.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
