**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are captured.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
- Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain smooth operations.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries effectively.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills are required for processing orders and payments accurately.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
- A background in culinary arts or food preparation is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided as needed.

Pay: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 28 per week
