Davies Group are currently seeking an Accounts Administrator to join their Accommodation team in Stoke on a full-time permanent basis Spanning across both Accounts Receivable and Account Payable functions, this role plays a key part in the day-to-day running of Davies, ensuring that monies received are processed and paid to suppliers and contractors in a timely fashion.
The role is based in our Stoke office. There will be no requirement to travel to other areas of the business.
**What your day will look like**:
- Recording incoming monies from bank to ledger
- Accurately coding and allocation of invoices and posting of cash
- Building payment runs to our network of suppliers
- Producing remittances for payments to suppliers and contractors
- Handling queries and resolving problems
- Assisting with month-end closing
- Making urgent payments
- Active debt management
**Abilities and Knowledge**:
- Experience of working under pressure and to deadlines
- The ability to work in a team as well as individually
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of skill in organising and prioritising
- Good IT skills, proficiency in excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
