General Administration Assistant/Financial Clerk

Job specification and terms - role (non exhaustive list for illustration purposes)
- opening files on case manager
- updating clients by phone
- sending standard letters to courts, police and CPS
- booking barristers for court hearings
- returning calls
- preparing instructions to counsel for hearings
- scanning and filing post
- taking payments over the phone
- checking payments received through the bank

Requirements needed
- must be confident and professional on the telephone
- be able to work on their own initiative but also as part of a team
- be able to work to tight timescales and be able to prioritise their workload

Terms of employment
- pay - dependent on experience
- 20 paid days holiday per year (excluding bank holidays)
- standard workplace pension scheme

**Salary**: £17,500.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Birkenhead, CH41 5AS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
