We are now recruiting for an **Air Freight Customer Service Clerk** to work within the **air export/import team in air freight. Looking for someone with more air export experience or dual experience.**
Main duties involve
**Monitor customer shipments in order to provide proactive updates to customers and to problem solve where needed**
**Communicate and manage pricing opportunities for the customer whilst documenting feedback in the inhouse system**
**Maintain a consistent and high-quality customer on boarding experience**
**Execute strong shipment ownership for all customers**
**Recognise and investigate non-conformities and deviations in a timely manner**
**Continuously analyse customer reports to identify areas for improvement**
**Build a strong relationship with the customer and provide high quality advice using a proactive approach**
**Handle queries from colleagues and customers**
**Ensure quality compliance as per internal and external regulations and agreements with adherence to KPI's, root cause analysis and rectification methods.**
**Experience required**
**Experience in air freight forwarding or air express with a key focus on airfreight exports**
**Ability to understand and execute new processes**
**Excellent knowledge of MS office features, especially excel**
**Strong affinity with required customer quality standards**
**GxP and DG Awareness ideally**
**Salary and Benefits**
**£26,000 To £30,000 circa**
