**Role Overview**:
Markets Operations is seeking an experienced Training specialist responsible for designing, developing and maintenance a best-in-class foundational training program to support various learning initiatives across all asset classes and the trade lifecycle.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, edit and maintenance of training related materials, including but not limited to how to videos, diagrams, graphics, illustrations, user-facing documentation, web-based training, and SharePoint content websites
- Deliver training in live instructor-led forums to large groups as needed
- Create custom diagrams, graphics and illustrations as required
- Assist in the updating of easy-to-follow user-facing documentation, including user guides, quick references, and other related material
- Collaborate with technical personnel, business leads and process SMEs to develop content
- Support the product development process by actively participating in requirements gathering meetings and internal product demonstrations
- Define success criteria and capture metrics on training effectiveness
- Manage the distribution of documentation, upload documents to learning site, and maintain document revision standards
- Create and maintain training content websites
- Work with Learning Management System (LMS) teams to publish content, troubleshoot issues, generate metric reports, etc.
- Provide support for staff on training related issues
- Collaborate with training working group and quality review unit to identify gaps that can be remediated through training
- Publish monthly highlights to keep user community informed of training updates
- Interacting and collaborating with other areas within Learning, HR Ops and Citi, as necessary.

**Qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Demonstrated experience incorporating adult learning theory, practices, and methodologies into the creation of training materials used in a business setting
- Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Very strong public presentation and communication skills; comfortable presenting to large audiences across multiple time zones (e.g., evening sessions for Asia, etc.) when required
- Proven innovative skills to develop alternatives to traditional training, familiarity with new training methods, and ways of capturing training effectiveness
- Experience with creating training content and delivery schedules
- Experience translating functional specifications and business requirements into training and user-friendly documentation
- Strong ability to identify content gaps in material and the corresponding questions to ask in order to obtain the needed information
- Strong interpersonal, relationship management and consulting skills
- Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations and customer requirements
- Excellent planning and organizational skills and proven ability to work independently and within allocated timelines
- Time management skills, including managing competing priorities

**Preferred**:

- Demonstrated ability to create measurement strategy to include the overall assessment approach, as well as the design and development of data collection tools and methods to measure the impact of training.
