- Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Warrington Council's Safeguarding and Quality Team as a Safeguarding and Quality Officer. This is a full time role offering a fantastic pay rate of £30 which can be negotiated upon experience.**Benefits**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with conducting safeguarding enquiries in relation to independent hospitals and/or residential and nursing settings.
- Support with pressure points as required such as screening VPAs and safeguarding concerns received.
- Provide expert guidance and support to social work staff regarding safeguarding procedures and practices.
- Conduct regular case reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement safeguarding policies and procedures in accordance with relevant legislation and best practice.
- Act as a resource for social workers, offering advice and support on complex cases and challenging situations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination in safeguarding efforts.
- Deliver training and workshops to enhance the knowledge and skills of social work staff in safeguarding and quality assurance.
- Stay up to date with developments in legislation, research, and best practice in safeguarding and quality social work.
- Provide expert advice and input in the development of safeguarding strategies and initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Current registration with Social Work England
- Enhanced DBS

**Experience**:

- Adults
