Head of Compliance

**About the role**

Are you an experienced and innovative professional, ready to step into a key role shaping risk management and compliance strategy?

As Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for delivering a critical leadership, support and coordination role for the Department. You will act as the Department’s Senior Information Risk Officer (SIRO), Health and Safety Co-ordinator and be responsible for overseeing the Department’s commitment to the requirements and duties of the Equality Act 2017.

Working collaboratively with various leadership and management teams across the Department, you will be accountable to the Deputy Chief Officer and have the opportunity to lead and deliver on high profile organisational projects contained within the annual Department Plan, ensuring that there is a focus on compliance, risk management, service standards and service improvement. Your ability to be a supportive and empowering leader within ambiguity will ensure the delivery of key projects to support the delivery of the Department’s five-year Strategic Plan.
