**The role of Van Driver / Warehouse Operative**:

- Create and complete file/box orders for delivery and collection
- Barcode files and boxes, and utilise bar-coding & database systems according to agreed processes
- Check electronic and manual records for accuracy and ensure any problems are reported promptly
- Pack boxes and prepare and move pallets/cages
- As directed assist with loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing boxes and files
- Ensure any mechanical handling equipment is operated safely and securely
- Maintain accurate records and logbooks as per Capita's instructions
- Sort files and maintain accurate filing systems in line with agreed processes
- Drive a van
- Attend third party sites to collect/deliver files
- Booking Courier collections/deliveries
- Franking outgoing mail
- Opening and sorting incoming mail
- Scanning files
- To ensure that all aspects of confidentiality are strictly observed
- Ability to comply with Health & Safety instructions
- Provide support as and when required to the Team Leader including any other tasks which will be in line with customer and business needs.
- Ensure all responsibilities to be carried out in line with local and company guidelines.
