We are recruiting for a Lead Domain Architect within the Insurance Markets Domain.

Principal Accountabilities
- To enable and own technical solutions within their domain.
- To become experts in the business requirements and map them to technical solutions.
- To ensure all development is aligned to the wider Global Technology architectural principals, designs, patterns and blueprints.
- Create and own architectural roadmaps and strategy within their domain.
- To educated squads/development teams on the Cloud First strategy and how this is applied to all solutions and development.

- An in-depth understanding of Lloyd’s challenges and objectives to effectively align technical strategies
- Courage and knowledge to provide challenge to senior management decisions
- The ability to think strategically, anticipate future developments and provide technical vision
- A determination to stay up to date regarding the latest technological advances
- A solid understanding of business processes and functions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Coding skills (preferably Python)

Knowledge
- Experience and/or knowledge of the London Insurance Market would be beneficial
- A hands-on Architect, with a leading-from-the front mindset and a passion for technology and consulting.
- More than just technically savvy. Strategic, analytical, forward thinking and constantly alert to new trends that will drive the business forward.

- Expert knowledge Cloud Migration, Cloud Transformation and best in class use of cloud technologies
- Cloud security
- Containerized services
- SaaS, Paas, IaaS
- Deep knowledge of Data Governance frameworks in complex regulated environments.
- Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
- Commercial insurance industry, terminology and strategic drivers is a plus

Experience
- Has come from an IT Engineering background
- Working collaboratively across multi-party teams and stakeholders to deliver high quality outputs
- Experienced in forming constructive partnerships and mutually beneficial solutions with third parties
- Experience of implementing sustained process and culture change in a business environment
- A creative thinker, able to deal with complex problems and develop innovative solutions
- Adherence to agreed governance processes and procedures
- Experience of cloud transformation programmes
