Weekend Care Lead

**Weekend Lead Carers - **Hourly wage**: - £13.55 per hour** (40p per mile mileage allowance on all calls)

**Shift details are as follows**:
Full day shifts

**(07:00am - 22:00pm) **Saturday** +**(07:00am - 22:00pm) **Sunday**

**The role will be based on a weekend on and weekend off basis **(Week1 and Week2)

**Note: - All shift patterns will be fixed contracted hours.**

**Job **Specification**
There will be times in day you can be at home, you won't be out all the time unless there is an emergency.

The position has been created to alleviate pressure from our senior home carers operating the on-call system as well as our office team in covering short notice and/or emergency calls during the weekends so you may not always be delivering care.
- **Covering care calls at short notice - acting as back-up for our 24 hours on call system**
- **Performing welfare checks on our clients**
- **Weekend staff spot checks, supporting our senior team in ensuring our carers are all working to the high standards we expect.**
- **Supporting our recruitment team in leaflet drops or recruitment events**

**_ What are we looking for in our home carers?_**
- Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial, but not essential as full training, shadowing and support will be given to new carers.
- Excellent communication skills are essential as you will most likely be working 1:1 with our clients within the community.
- A genuine desire to help others and keep our clients independent and well cared for.
- Right to work in UK
- Driving license and access to vehicle
- On update DBS system or would need you to complete a new DBS check
