Yard Supervisor

**Jewson Market Harborough**, a leading building materials distributor, is on the hunt for a **Yard Supervisor **who's as passionate about great service as we are.

- **Hours**:_7.30am-5.00pm Monday to Friday and every other Saturday 8am-12pm_
- **Location**:_Riverside, Market Harborough LE16 7PT_
- **Key Responsibilities**_
- Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
- Work as a direct support the management team and act as a keyholder when needed
- Ensure your team are set up for the days duties, including delivery drivers with route planning
- Get to know our product lines so you can offer advice and help to customers, making the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson Values
- Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (FLT training/refresher will be provided if necessary)
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
- Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
- Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers

- Previous industry experience preferred
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work accordingly
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Confident working both indoors and outdoors and a health and safety focus
- Comfortable in a role involving extensive manual handling of bulky items
