**Job Description**:
Post 1- a Level 2 qualified LSA to work within KS1 with a small number of children in receipt of high needs funding with SEND and SEMH needs.
Post 2- a Level 2 qualified LSA to work in KS2 with a small number of children in receipt of high needs funding with SEND and SEMH needs.
A knowledge of using a trauma informed approach to learning would be advantageous.

As well as providing support for a specific pupil, additional duties will include:

- Supporting individual children or small groups of pupils within class as part of their curriculum learning
- Supporting teaching staff in terms of administration and display work, including record keeping.
- Supervision of pupils and promotion of good behaviour
- Establishing positive relationships with parents/carers
- Contributing to the ethos of the school, and supporting extra-curricular activities and events.

In line with the person specification,
- You need to be a calm, patient and resilient, able to work well within a team and have the ability to make a positive contribution to the life of the school.
- You must have a minimum qualification of NVQ L2 in Teaching Assistance
- Experience working with children with additional needs in a school setting is desirable
- Have excellent verbal communication skills
- You must uphold the seven Nolan principles of public office
