**HR Assistant** **Flannery Plant Hire** **Wembley** Flannery Plant Hire is a leading provider of plant hire and specialist attachments to the construction industry across the UK and Ireland. Your main responsibilities as a **HR Assistant** will be to maintain and update employee records, as well as to manage various HR documents and internal databases. **What your role will entail**: As the **HR Assistant** you will be the first point of contact for employees, Line Managers and Directors with any HR related queries. You will be dealing with the majority of employee documentation, including contract of employment, onboarding paperwork and new starter packs. A basic understanding and knowledge of employment law and ensuring the HR department conforms to these would be an advantage. Assisting with any other administrative tasks as and when they arise. **Duties Include**: - Providing all administrative support to the HR Manager including sending employment contracts, offer letters and ad-hoc correspondence - Managing employees’ holiday and absence records through HRIS - Collating and managing HR records and maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records - Assisting with Recruitment and Onboarding process - Assist with the preparation of induction documentation - Conducting pre-employment checks and reference requests - Regularly review and update on employment legislation - Coordinate staff engagement activities and wellbeing initiatives. - Updating internal databases - Producing management reports for the HR Manager - Assisting with monthly Payroll documentation to the Finance team with payroll deadlines - Being the first point of contact for employees, Line Managers and Directors on any HR related queries - Supporting in disciplinary and grievances and all aspects of Employee Relations - Coordinate and conduct exit interviews and analyse leaver data - Responsible for organising internal and external training - Facilitate and support line managers on performance management; probationary reviews, performance improvement plans and annual performance appraisal process - Ensure all personal data is collected, stored, and processed in line with the Data Protection Act (DPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Company Policies - Any other ad-hoc duties as required **Required Skills and Experience**: Ideally you have CIPD qualification Level 3 or working towards it. Should have a minimum of two years HR Administration experience. Full training will be provided on our internal systems. Being organised and able to prioritise is vital, as is having good communication and relationship building skills, as you will collaborate with various people across the whole business.
