**What you’ll be doing**

The Assistant Digital Editor will be working within the supportive, knowledgeable IET Academy team administering an e-learning platform for engineers. The team is very positive and proactive, and this role will work closely with all members of the team,as well as collaboratively with the Sales, Marketing and the Professional Development teams.

**A little more about the role**

**Project Editor support**
- Quality Assure all courses and communicating with the Project Editor about any issues, including spelling, audio, grammar and functionality errors
- Assist Project Editors with placing audio in courses and publishing modules
- Organise the external review process, contacting potential reviewers and passing feedback from the reviews
- Liaising with external contractors including freelance project editors
- Overseeing the permissions process, working with the permissions contractor to ensure permissions for images and articles are granted and paid for

**Content support**
- Ensure that content within the learning management system is digitally tagged
- Ensure that all content is displaying correctly in both the LCMS and LMS and work efficiently to correct any bugs or unexpected errors.
- Ensure content partner contracts are signed, circulated and archived

**Sales support**
- Registering learners and managing customer data in the IET Academy LMS
- Run customer reports as per each customer contract and weekly and monthly sales reports as requested
- Processing refunds according to IET finance standards
- Answering customer queries and assisting with any problems they have accessing or using the website and/or e-learning platform

**Finance support**
- To ensure that all financial data held on the IET Academy e-commerce platform is up to date as per IET finance standards and that relevant financial reports are being run and circulated as needed
- To ensure purchase orders are raised and invoices are paid in a timely manner
- To ensure royalty reports are circulated to content partners as per content partner contracts

**Marketing support**
- To ensure that all content-associated information and pricing is uploaded to relevant systems, is displaying correctly and circulated with colleagues
- To ensure content is published and displaying correctly on the IET Academy e-commerce platform and contacting web developers if there is an issue

**18th Edition Exam support**
- To ensure that learners who register for the 18th Edition online exam are correctly inputted into the Walled Garden system
- To ensure that all files related to the IET Academy’s online exam provision are in proper order and suitable for auditing

- Excellent IT abilities and experience with MS office
- Experience of working within a digital publishing environment
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage busy workload
- An ability to engage and work with all stakeholders
- Able to work productively on their own initiative - must be self-motivated an excellent communicator with a strong customer service ethic
- A familiarity with SCORM, online learning technologies and/or content authoring tools (not essential).
